Route Highlights
Como — Departure
We set off from Como along the right-hand shore of the lake, following roads that professional cyclists train on every week. The lake opens up immediately, offering ever-changing reflections and colors as we head north.
Bellagio — The Pearl of the Lake
After a scenic ride with countless lake views, we arrive in Bellagio — the most celebrated town on Lake Como. Here we pause for a well-deserved espresso or cappuccino before tackling the climb ahead.
The Ghisallo Climb
This iconic ascent is a pilgrimage for cyclists worldwide and a regular stage of the Giro di Lombardia. At the summit, we visit the Ghisallo Cycling Museum — home to 100 pink jerseys and historic bikes from Italian legends like Moser, Saronni, and Bartali. The Madonna del Ghisallo has been the official Patron Saint of Cyclists since 1948.
Return
When we get back, we'll have two options: one that's much easier and another that's a bit more challenging. We'll decide after enjoying a good coffee or some gelato — completing an unforgettable loop.
